Accessibility Statement
Yuval Studios works to make this website comfortable and equitable to use, including for people with disabilities, and to address accessibility barriers that are identified.
1. Business Details
- Business name: Yuval Studios
- Business owner: Yuval Gabay
- Service type: Graphic design, branding, and video editing services
- Website: https://yuval-studios.com
2. Accessibility of the Service
Yuval Studios provides services remotely through digital channels such as email, Messenger, and online communications. The business has no public reception area or physical premises providing service to the public, so there are no physical-accessibility arrangements to publish here.
If you need an adjustment in how the service is provided, please use the contact details below and describe your needs. If a public reception location opens or the service changes, this statement will be updated.
3. Website Accessibility Approach
The website was developed with consideration for accessibility requirements applicable in Israel, including the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568 Part 1, based on WCAG 2.0 at level AA.
Code improvements and automated and manual checks have been carried out as described here. This statement does not claim official certification or a complete conformance assessment by a certified accessibility professional. If a gap is identified, we will review it and work to resolve it where possible.
4. Website Accessibility Features
- Semantic structure: A logical heading hierarchy, semantic regions (landmarks), and labeled navigation help assistive technology navigate the page.
- Keyboard navigation: Interactive elements, including the mobile menu and portfolio gallery, support keyboard operation. Dialogs contain keyboard focus, close with Esc , and return focus to the originating control.
- Visible focus: Interactive controls have a visible focus indicator during keyboard navigation.
- Skip link: A Skip to main content link appears at the start of each page.
- Image alternatives: Meaningful images have descriptive alternative text. Decorative images are marked so assistive technology can skip them.
- Color contrast: Text and key interface colors have been checked, with corrections made where gaps were identified.
- Touch targets: Main buttons and links are designed with comfortable touch targets.
- Reduced motion: The website respects the operating system's reduced-motion preference, disabling animations and smooth scrolling accordingly.
- Text resizing: Text can be enlarged through the browser without losing content or functionality.
- Responsive layout: The site adapts to desktop, tablet, and mobile screens across different sizes and orientations.
- Language & direction: The English version declares English and left-to-right direction; the Hebrew version declares Hebrew and right-to-left direction to help assistive technology interpret content.
- Video: Portfolio videos include Hebrew captions describing speech or audio information, with English translation subtitles available in the English version.
5. Accessibility Component
An accessibility component provides optional adjustments, including larger text, contrast changes, link highlighting, a readable font, a larger cursor, and paused animations. Open it using the accessibility icon on the page.
The component is an additional aid, not a substitute for accessible website code. The underlying site includes the code-level improvements described above.
6. Known Limitations
Despite these efforts and checks, gaps may remain. The known limitations at publication are:
- Portfolio examples are images containing designed text. Each work includes alternative text and an additional description of the work type, client, and main idea outside the image. Decorative text within the artwork is not reproduced separately.
- External services: Messenger, TikTok, and email-app links open third-party services outside our control. Direct email contact is also available below.
- Testing scope: The website has been checked using automated tools and manual checks of structure, keyboard use, focus, resizing, narrow layouts, contrast, and dialogs. It has not yet been tested with an actual screen-reader user or audited by a certified accessibility professional.
7. Accessibility Contact
