Terms & Conditions
This page governs use of the website and enquiries about services. Each project begins only after approval of a written proposal or order specifying the terms of that project.
1. General Information & Definitions
This website presents a portfolio and information about graphic design, content editing, and video editing for businesses and individuals (the "Services").
- "Service Provider" — Yuval Gabay, operator of Yuval Studios.
- "Client" — any person or entity ordering services from the Service Provider.
- "Deliverable" — the file or files specified for delivery in the approved proposal.
- "Brief" — the agreed requirements, scope, and message of the work, defined by the parties before it begins.
Gendered wording in the Hebrew terms is used for convenience and refers equally to all genders. Section headings are for convenience and do not determine the interpretation of these terms.
2. Enquiries, Proposals & Engagement
The website does not process payments, accept online orders, or conclude transactions. Clicking Send a Message or Send an Email is an enquiry for information only and does not create a binding order.
Each project is priced separately after discussing the need. A written proposal or order will specify, as applicable, the scope, deliverables, schedule, revision rounds, fees, payment terms, cancellation terms, and usage rights. In the event of a conflict, the project-specific terms approved in writing prevail, subject to mandatory law.
3. Work Process & Revisions
The approved proposal specifies the number of revision rounds. Work beyond the scope or a substantial change to the brief may require an updated quote or schedule, to be approved before work continues.
Delivery dates are agreed when the order is approved, based on the scope. Delays in providing client materials or feedback will correspondingly postpone delivery.
4. Client-Supplied Materials
The Client is responsible for providing the materials needed for the work, including text, images, logos, and contact information.
The Client must ensure they hold the rights or appropriate permission to use all supplied materials, including text, images, trademarks, and likenesses. Any uncertainty about a material must be disclosed before it is used. Any liability or indemnity will be governed solely by the written agreement and applicable law.
5. Payment & Cancellation
- Any required deposit and its amount will be specified in the approved proposal before work begins.
- Cancellation after work begins will be calculated according to work actually performed, non-cancellable third-party commitments, and the terms approved in writing, subject to applicable law.
- Payment is by bank transfer or payment apps, such as Bit or PayBox, as agreed in advance.
Where the Client is a consumer and the engagement is a distance-selling transaction, the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 1981, and Consumer Protection (Cancellation of a Transaction) Regulations, 2010, apply according to the service and circumstances. These terms do not exclude cancellation rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived. Cancellation may be communicated by any method required by law and according to the contact details in the proposal; email and Messenger contact are available through the website.
6. Copyright & Usage Licenses
Any transfer of copyright or grant of usage rights must be explicitly specified in the written proposal or order. Under Israel's Copyright Law, 2007, a copyright transfer or exclusive license requires a written instrument. These general terms alone do not constitute a blanket transfer of all rights.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, delivery and use of the work are conditional on full payment. Editable source files, such as AI or PSD, are provided only if explicitly included in the proposal. Moral rights are preserved according to applicable law.
Third-party assets, such as fonts, stock images, music, templates, and software components, remain subject to their own licenses; no rights beyond those licenses are transferred.
7. Use of AI Tools
If AI tools are used in a project, their use and scope will be agreed with the Client. Such outputs may be subject to provider terms, license restrictions, and legal uncertainty regarding exclusivity or registration of rights. No exclusivity in AI-generated content is promised unless expressly agreed in writing following appropriate review.
Do not supply confidential materials, a person's likeness, trademarks, or protected works for generation without appropriate permission. The Client will approve the final work before publication or manufacturing.
8. Portfolio Display & Confidentiality
Portfolio display of work is subject to the permission or agreement for the project and third-party rights. Confidentiality or publication restrictions must be agreed in writing in advance. These terms do not retroactively grant publication permission for work without such authorization.
9. Reviewing Deliverables & Keeping Files
Before printing, manufacturing, or publishing, the Client will be asked to review and approve the work, including text, spelling, dimensions, colors, contact details, and supplied information. Client approval does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded, but changes after approval may involve additional cost and time.
The Client is responsible for retaining copies of delivered files. Long-term storage of working files is not part of the service.
10. Liability
Services are provided with reasonable professional skill. However, the Service Provider will not be liable for indirect, consequential, or special loss, including lost profits, lost business opportunities, or reputational harm suffered by the Client or a third party in connection with the services or use of the deliverables.
Any limitation of liability or financial cap applies only to the extent permitted by law and subject to project terms approved in writing. These terms do not limit liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for intentional acts or gross negligence.
The Service Provider will not be liable for delay or non-performance caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including technical failures, force majeure, or an emergency.
11. Website Use & Intellectual Property
Website content, including its design, text, logo, and portfolio examples, is protected by copyright and intellectual property rights of the Service Provider or the relevant rights holders. It may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, published, or used commercially without prior written permission.

This is an informational website with no forms, registration, user account area, or payment processing. We use aggregate Cloudflare traffic data, such as visit and request counts, to understand usage. For this purpose, we have not added browser-side analytics code or marketing cookies of our own. Browsing does not require visitors to provide personal information.
As with any website, the hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) and the distribution network serving the accessibility component (jsDelivr) may process technical request data, such as an IPaddress, browser type, and request time, for security, operation, and service delivery according to their own policies.
The accessibility component stores your selected display preferences, such as text size or contrast, in the browser's local storage (localStorage) so they persist between pages. These preferences remain on your device and can be removed by clearing the site's browser data.

14. Changes to These Terms
The Service Provider may update these terms from time to time. The applicable version is the one published on this page at the time of engagement. Updates do not apply retroactively to work already approved.
15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms and the engagement are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Disputes will be heard by the competent court in Israel according to the jurisdiction rules established by law.
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
